You've spent years building a business worth being proud of. Your website should feel the same way.

Meet Katerina,
the person behind Kaela.

I started in design almost by accident, building a Facebook page for a small business back when I was still in sales. I didn't know it yet, but that's where it began: figuring out how to make a business look like what it actually is.

Sales taught me something I still use every day. People don't decide with logic first, they decide with a gut feeling, then they look for reasons to justify it. A website either gives them that feeling or it doesn't.

Now I only work with people who've already built something real, they just need it to look and read like it. It's just me. No handoff, no outsourcing, no one else touching your project.

We work on your site together until it actually feels right for your business.

  • Now I can share everything with a single link and update my portfolio in minutes. Since launching I started working with small businesses on handdrawn and handpainted mascots and marketing materials — the quality of clients has risen and so has the work I get paid for.

  • Her range goes well beyond visual design. She handled a custom HubSpot Forms API integration and the consent management setup herself, which is a long way from drag-and-drop work. Recommend her for any project, particularly the ones that need more than a good-looking page.

  • Having worked with multiple developers over the years, her eye for design and creativity was outstanding and really brought the idea to life. A new site has improved conversion and made my offer stand out more in a saturated market.

  • Katerina is incredibly detail-oriented and full of great ideas, so patient, and she listens, asks the right questions, and offers suggestions until things start to click. If you are looking for someone who can take a half-formed idea and turn it into something real, she is your person!

  • From our first conversation, it was clear she actually listens. She met me where I was, aligned to my vision, and brought a level of care and collaboration that's rare to find. She's not an order-taker, she's a strategic partner who genuinely cares about the quality of the outcome.

  • Katerina took my vision and ideas and turned them into a polished Framer website that perfectly supports my podcast launch. Thoughtful, responsive, and a true creative partner.

  • It was exactly the update I was looking for, a fresh insight I wouldn't have achieved by myself. If you're somebody who isn't exactly thrilled about designing a website but still want it to look unique and fresh, Katerina's a great web designer for that.

  • I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katerina — I've worked with many web developers over the years and have struggled to find someone who goes beyond just delivering the brief. A rare breath of fresh air and a website I'm delighted with.

  • Katerina brought genuine creative input beyond just building what I asked for — she pushed back when something wasn't working, suggested better approaches, and helped me think through how to communicate the product's USP more clearly. The end result is something I'm really happy with.

What do you need from me before we start?

Your content: copy, images, and any existing branding (logo, colors, fonts) if you have it. You'll also need a clear sense of what you offer and who it's for. If you're missing some of this, no worries, it happens often. Just let me know, and we can figure out together whether Strategy & Copy or Visual Direction would help fill the gap.

Can you build the site first and I add the content later?

Will I own the website after we finish?

Do you work alone or do you outsource?

Can I update it myself once it's live?

What happens if I need changes after launch?
